The Tom Schneider Atlas Large Dining Table has a strong, structural design inspired by the sculptures of Atlas, the Titan from Greek mythology who is often depicted with a globe weighing heavily on his back.
Like the famous sculptures of Atlas, the table has outstretched arms and legs that are poised to support the weight of the glass top.
The table’s glass top and concave base allows a lot of light to pass through and around it so it takes up little visual space despite its large size.
